Help & Guides

Everything you need to set up and run your iRacing league on LEAGR.

GETTING STARTED

Up and running in minutes

LEAGR connects directly to iRacing's data API. No CSV uploads, no manual entry — just sign up and race.

Creating your first league

After signing up, go to Leagues in the nav and click Create League. Give your league a name and choose a default scoring system. You can change these settings at any time.

Once created, you'll be taken to the league detail page where you can add seasons, configure classes, and invite drivers.

◆You're automatically assigned as the league owner. Only owners can delete a league or transfer ownership.

Connecting your iRacing account

LEAGR pulls data from iRacing automatically using your iRacing customer ID (Cust ID). Your Cust ID is visible in your LEAGR profile once you've signed up — it's the same number shown in iRacing's member site URL.

No password sharing is required. LEAGR reads publicly available iRacing data through the official iRacing API.

01Sign in to LEAGR and go to your Dashboard.
02Your iRacing stats will load automatically if your Cust ID is linked.
03Stats refresh hourly. Hit Refresh on the dashboard to pull the latest data on demand.

Inviting drivers

From your league page, open the Roster tab and click Add Member. Search by iRacing name and select the driver — they'll appear on the roster immediately.

Drivers don't need a LEAGR account to appear in standings. They only need an account if they want to log in and view their own stats.

LEAGUE MANAGEMENT

Running your season

Configure scoring, class structure, and the race calendar from your league's admin panel.

Scoring systems

LEAGR supports several built-in scoring systems, and you can configure custom point scales for any class.

SystemP1 / P2 / P3Notes
European Endurance25 / 18 / 15Standard endurance points scale
F1 Style25 / 18 / 15Same as endurance; bonus point for fastest lap
CustomConfigurableSet any points per finishing position
Inherit—Uses the parent season's scoring system

Multi-class setup

Seasons can be split into multiple classes (e.g. GT3 and GT4 running together). Each class can have its own scoring system or inherit from the season default.

Go to the Classes tab on your season page, add a class, name it, choose a scoring system, and assign drivers. Standings automatically separate per-class results.

◆If all classes use Inherit, the season shows a single overall standings table. If any class has its own scoring, LEAGR switches to per-class standings automatically.

Season scheduling and rounds

From the Rounds tab, add a round for each race in your calendar. Each round has a track, a race date, and links to the iRacing subsession ID once the race has taken place.

Once a subsession ID is entered, LEAGR pulls the full result from iRacing — finishing order, fastest lap, incidents — and updates the standings automatically.

Importing an existing iRacing league

If your league already exists in iRacing, use Leagues → Import. Search for your league by name, review the member list, optionally set up classes, and confirm.

The import wizard runs in four steps: Find → Review → Set up classes → Done. Existing iRacing league sessions are not automatically imported as rounds — you'll add those manually in the Rounds tab.

ROLES & PERMISSIONS

Who can do what

Every league member has a role that controls what they can see and do. Roles are assigned per-league and can be changed by owners and admins.

Role overview

There are four member roles in a league. Owners have full control, drivers have read access. Admins and Stewards handle day-to-day administration.

◆Roles are scoped to the league — a driver in one league can be an admin in another. Owners cannot have their role changed; transfer ownership to another member first if needed.

Steward responsibilities

Stewards handle the sporting side of a league without needing access to administrative settings. They are trusted to review incidents, apply penalties, and keep the racing fair.

As a steward you can:

  • View every incident report filed in the league, regardless of who raised it
  • Add internal notes and a public ruling reason when closing a case
  • Mark incidents as Resolved, Dismissed, or Under Review
  • Issue penalties against any driver for any round — time penalties, position penalties, points deductions, DSQs, or warnings
  • Remove a penalty if it was issued in error

Penalties take effect immediately. Time penalties are applied to the driver's finish time and standings positions are recalculated automatically. DSQs zero out the driver's points for that round.

◆Stewards cannot change member roles, edit season settings, or reconfigure the league. If you need those actions, ask an owner or admin.

Incidents & penalties

Any league member can raise an incident report from the Stewards tab on a season page. You can describe what happened, link it to a specific round, and optionally name the driver(s) involved. Drivers only see their own reports; stewards see all.

Penalties are separate from incidents. Stewards can issue a penalty directly (without a linked incident) or as the outcome of an incident investigation. Available penalty types:

TYPEEFFECT
WarningRecorded on the driver — no standings impact
Time penaltyAdds seconds to finish time; positions are re-sorted and standings recalculated
Position penaltyDrops the driver a set number of positions in the round result
Points deductionSubtracts a fixed number of points from the driver's season total
DisqualificationZeroes the driver's points for that round; they remain in the result

Penalty types available in your league can be customised by an owner or admin from the league settings. You can restrict which types stewards may use or add a house rule penalty with a custom label.

DRIVER GUIDE

For drivers

Everything you can see and do as a driver on LEAGR.

Reading the standings

Season standings show each driver's total points, number of wins, podiums, and rounds entered. In a multi-class season you'll see a class label (CL Pn) next to your overall position.

Use the class filter at the top of the standings to view a single class. The filter is available in both overall and per-class scoring modes.

Your race history

The Dashboard shows your last eight races from iRacing — finish position, iRating change, and incident count. Click any row to open the full race result.

Stats refresh automatically once per hour. If they look stale, hit Refresh to pull the latest from iRacing right now.

Driver profile page

Search for any iRacing driver from the Drivers page. The profile shows iRating and Safety Rating per category, career starts and wins, and recent race history.

You can star a driver to pin them to the top of the search page for quick access.

ACCOUNT & SECURITY

Keeping your account safe

Manage your login security and notification preferences from the Settings panel.

Two-factor authentication

Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds a second step to your login. After entering your password you'll be asked for a 6-digit code from an authenticator app — so even if your password is compromised, your account stays protected.

To enable 2FA:

  1. Open Settings from the top-right menu on the dashboard.
  2. Under Two-Factor Authentication, click Enable 2FA.
  3. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, or similar), or enter the setup key manually.
  4. Enter the 6-digit code shown in your app to confirm, then click Verify & Activate.

Once enabled, every login will require a code from your authenticator app. To disable 2FA you'll need to confirm with a current code — this prevents someone with access to your session from removing your protection.

Account settings

The Settings panel is accessible from the user menu in the top-right corner of the dashboard. From here you can:

  • Enable or disable two-factor authentication
  • Manage your marketing email preferences
FAQ

Common questions

What if I lose access to my authenticator app?

If you lose access to your authenticator app and can't log in, contact LEAGR support. We'll verify your identity and help you regain access. This is why we recommend saving your authenticator's backup codes when you first set it up.

Why aren't my iRacing stats showing?

Stats are fetched using your iRacing Cust ID. If the dashboard is empty, check that your Cust ID is correctly linked in your profile. iRacing occasionally has API outages — the dashboard will show a banner when that happens.

How often do standings update?

Standings update automatically when a new round result is entered (via subsession ID). iRacing stats on the dashboard refresh once per hour, or immediately when you click Refresh.

Can a driver be in more than one class?

No — each driver can only be assigned to one class per season. If a driver moves class mid-season, remove them from the old class and add them to the new one. Historical results remain attributed to the original class.

Is LEAGR free?

LEAGR is free during beta with no driver limits. No credit card is needed to get started. See the pricing page for details.

Can I have multiple seasons open at the same time?

Yes. A league can have any number of seasons in any state (upcoming, active, completed) simultaneously. Each season has its own rounds, classes, and standings.

Who can see my league?

League data is visible to all logged-in LEAGR users. Driver profiles and iRacing stats are drawn from publicly available iRacing data.
